【摘要】:Thequantityofsieveresidueofcarbonblackisimportantinsomemoldedorextrudedproductsasitmayrelatetothesurfaceappearanceofthoseproducts.Themaximumresidueineachapplicationisnormallydeterminedandagreedtobetweentheuserandtheproducer.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationofthewaterwashsieveresidueinregularuntreatedcarbonblacks.Itmaynotbeapplicabletooil-treatedcarbonblacksbecausetheoilwouldpreventproperwettingoftheblackbywater.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection6.
