【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherelativeeffectivenessofwoodpreservativesinroundpostssetinthegroundinfieldplots.Twotestsaredescribed,oneforsmall(3to5in.(80to130mm)indiameter)sapwoodpostswhichisthepreferredtestifmajorinterestliesintestingthepreservativewhenfairlyevenlydistributedthroughoutthepiece,andthesecondforlargeposts(7to10in.(180to250mm)indiameter)whichispreferredwhenthepreservativeistestedunderconditionsofgradientretentionanddistributionnormallyencounteredincommercialoperations.Therequirementsforpreparationofthematerialfortestingandthetestproceduresappearasfollows:Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofpedestriancontrolledintegrallypoweredlawnaeratorsandscarifierswhicharedesignedforre-generatinglawnsby,forinstance,combingoutgrass,thatchandmossorcuttingverticallyintothelawnfaceusingtineswhichrotateaboutahorizontalaxis.Itdescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheiruse.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Throughoutthisstandard,theterm'machine"appliestothosemachinesknownasaerators,scarifiers,corers,lawnrakesorgrassrakes.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoaerators/scarifiersmadefromamachinefallingwithinthescopeofEN709:1997whenfittedwithanaerating/scarifyingimplement,non-poweredaerators,verticalaxisaeratorsorthoseaeratorswhichcutintothesoilbymeansofareciprocatingmotionorbywaterpressure.TheelectricalaspectsofmainsoperatedmachinesarecoveredbyEN60335-1.Thesafetyaspectsofbatteriesotherthanbatteriesforstartingtheengineandtheelectricalsafetyaspectsofbatterypoweredlawnaeratorsandscarifiersarenotcoveredbythisstandard,Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoscarifiersandaerators,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4),EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoaerators/scarifierswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
