【摘要】:Thisstandardappliestoenclosuresforelectricalequipmentintendedtobeinstalledandusedinnon-hazardouslocationsinaccordancewiththeCanadianElectricalCode,PartI,CSAC22.1,theprovisionsoftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70,andtheprovisionsofMexico'sElectricalInstallations,NOM-001-SEDE,asfollows:a)Enclosuresforindoorlocations,Types1,2,5,12,12K,and13;andb)Enclosuresforindoororoutdoorlocations,Types3,3R,3S,4,4X,6,and6P.Thisstandardcoversadditionalenvironmentalconstructionandperformancerequirementsforenclosures.ThegeneralrequirementsforenclosuresarecontainedinstandardCSAC22.2No.94.1,UL50,andNMX-J-235/1-ANCE(SeeAnnexb,Ref.No.10)ortheend-useproductstandardsthataretobeusedinconjunctionwiththisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotcovertherequirementsforprotectionofdevicesagainstconditionssuchascondensation,icing,corrosion,orcontaminationthatmayoccurwithintheenclosureorthatmayenterviaconduitorunsealedopenings.Whereanindividualproductstandardcontainsrequirementsthatareatvariancewiththoseofthisstandard,therequirementsoftheindividualproductstandardtakeprecedence.
