【摘要】:1.1Spectralsearchingistheprocesswherebyaspectrumofanunknownmaterialisevaluatedagainstalibrary(database)ofdigitallyrecordedreferencespectra.Thepurposeofthisevaluationisclassificationoftheunknownand,wherepossible,identificationoftheunknown.Spectralsearchingisintendedasascreeningmethodtoassisttheanalystandisnotanabsoluteidentificationtechnique.Spectralsearchingisnotintendedtoreplaceanexpertininfraredspectroscopy.Spectralsearchingshouldnotbeusedwithoutsuitabletraining.1.2TheuserofthisdocumentshouldbeawarethattheresultsofaspectralsearchcanbeaffectedbythefollowingfactorsdescribedinSection5:(1)baselines,(2)samplepurity,(3)Absorbancelinearity(Beerx2019;sLaw),(4)samplethickness,(5)sampletechniqueandpreparation,(6)physicalstateofthesample,(7)wavenumberrange,(8)spectralresolution,and(9)choiceofalgorithm.1.2.1Manyotherfactorscanaffectspectralsearchingresults.1.3Thescopeofthisdocumentistoprovideaguidefortheuseofsearchalgorithmsformid-infraredspectroscopy.Themethodsdescribedhereinmaybeapplicabletotheuseofthesealgorithmsforothertypesofspectroscopicdata,buteachtypeofdatasearchshouldbeassessedseparately.1.4TheEuclideandistancealgorithmandthefirstderivativeEuclideandistancealgorithmaredescribedandtheirusediscussed.Thetheoryandcommonassumptionsmadewhenusingsearchalgorithmsarealsodiscussed,alongwithguidelinesfortheuseandinterpretationofthesearchresults.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
