【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsofidentificationofthefirehazardresultingfrommachineryandtheperformanceofacorrespondingriskassessment.Itspecifiesthebasicconceptsandmethodologyoftechnicalmeasuresforfirepreventionandprotectiontobetakenduringthedesignandconstructionofmachinery.ThepurposeofthisEuropeanStandardistoreachtherequiredsafetylevelaccordingtotheintendeduseofthemachinerybyapplyingtechnicalmeasuresformachinery(seeFigure1,column1).TechnicalmeasuresaremainlyintegratedinthemachineryandtheyarepreferablyimplementedbyuseofsafetycomponentsasdefinedinDirective98/37/EC.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletothemachinerygivenintheCouncilDirectiveof22June1998ontheapproximationofthelawsoftheMemberStatesrelatingtomachinery(98/37/EC).TheexclusionsgiveninthisDirectivearealsorelevanttothisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcovermachinerydesignedtocontaincontrolledcombustionprocesses(e.g.internalcombustionengines,furnaces),unlesstheseprocessesmayconstitutetheignitionsourceofafireinotherpartsofthemachineryoroutsideofthis.
